Join Boomer Jerritt in the New Year for a photo-presentation and lecture at the Little Red Church in Comox highlighting his second trip to the Antarctic Peninsula and South Georgia, main Island within the South Sandwich Islands. As photographer-in-residence aboard the Akademik Ioffe with One Ocean Expeditions, Boomer will be sharing images and experiences gathered from his one month journey to the wildlife paradise of South Georgia Island and the rich and diverse landscape of the Antarctic Peninsula. In this 1 hour photo presentation Boomer will invite you to explore this isolated and extreme region of our planet with it’s foreboding landscape, mountainous icebergs and unique polar wildlife including chinstrap, rockhopper, macaroni, gentoo and adelie penguin colonies, whales, seals and sea birds as they are captured in front of the camera lens in this remote and magical place.
